The self-service options at PA CareerLink® Lancaster County are for self-starters looking to utilize our Career Resource Center and online job searching tools. We also have two courtesy phones that connect directly to Unemployment Compensation. Access to our self-service options are free and do not require any eligibility.
PA CareerLink is Pennsylvania’s job search website which is free to employers and job seekers; new job postings appear daily. Once you create an account, the system aids you in creating a resume after you enter your education, work history, etc. While you can upload a different resume, everyone should create a resume on the system; it is the system-generated resume that employers will see when searching for talent to match their job openings. Some features of PA CareerLink include Big Interview, Torq, Military Translator, Day in the Life videos, and much more.
We do not have access to your employment compensation claim or information, however, we can make it easier for you to access those services. Our UC Courtesy Phone allows you to reach the Unemployment Compensation Service Centers to speak to an agent. You can access this phone Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 3 PM. Computer access is available in the Career Resource Center (CRC) to claimants who need to apply for or file their initial claim or biweekly benefits. You can access the UC website and the fax machine in the CRC during our regular CRC hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM.
